Leonard Baskin (Aug - June 3, ) was an American sculptor, book-illustrator, wood-engraver, printmaker, graphic artist, writer and teacher. While he was a student at Yale University, he founded Gehenna Press, a small private press specializing in fine book production.

Leonard Baskin () founded the Gehenna press in (the name coming from a line in Milton's Paradise Lost: "And black Gehenna call'd, the type of Hell.") The archive of the Gehenna Press was acquired by the Bodleian Library in (6) Star-wheel Hughes & Kimber etching press, 19th-c.
